On 1 October 2025, the Faculty of Croatian Studies hosted a Welcome Day for Erasmus+ students arriving for the winter semester of the 2025/2026 academic year.

Students from Germany, Turkey, Spain, and the Netherlands were welcomed by Assist. Prof. Antonia Ordulj, Ph.D., Vice-Dean for International Cooperation, and Josip Zekić, M.Ed. (History), Head of the Office for International Cooperation.

It was emphasized that the Erasmus exchange represents not only an opportunity for academic development, but also for intercultural experience, knowledge exchange, and the creation of new friendships.

During the Welcome Day, students attended an introductory lecture and a meeting with the Office for International Cooperation, where they received key information about the Faculty, academic obligations, and student life in Zagreb. The ESN Zagreb Buddy Programme was also presented, through which local students assist Erasmus colleagues in navigating both the Faculty and the city.

After the official part of the programme, a guided tour of the Faculty buildings and library was organized, during which students received welcome gifts.

The Faculty looks forward to the new semester and the experiences that Erasmus students will take with them from Zagreb, wishing them a successful and fulfilling stay.
