Department of Psychology at the International Conference “Psychology In Transition: Adapting to a Rapidly Changing World”

On Friday, 19 September 2025, the international conference “Psychology In Transition: Adapting to a Rapidly Changing World” was held in Split, organized by the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Split.

The conference saw active participation from members of the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Croatian Studies, University of Zagreb, including Ana Petak, Ph.D., and Assoc. Prof. Maša Tonković Grabovac, Ph.D., as well as several external teaching collaborators of the Department and graduate students of psychologyIva Ignjačić and Petar Obad.

The following papers were presented by the Department’s members and students:

  • Determinants of Romantic Relationship Satisfaction: Parenting Styles, Partner Attachment, and Emotional Intelligence

  • The Interplay of Cyberchondria, Health Literacy, and Personality Traits

  • Mental Health and Sleep Habits: Is It More Important How We Sleep or How Much We Sleep?

  • How Is Technostress Related to Acceptance of Change and Work-Related Well-Being?
    (Maša Tonković Grabovac, Karla Ćuk, Daria Loos Glebov)

The participation of the Faculty’s Department of Psychology at this international conference once again confirmed its active engagement in contemporary psychological research and its commitment to scientific exchange and collaboration within the global academic community.
