Doc. dr. sc., psih. Alena Gizdic, docentica na Odsjeku za psihologiju Fakulteta hrvatskih studija Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, dobitnica je prestižne međunarodne nagrade Early Career Award koju dodjeljuje Schizophrenia International Research Society (SIRS), jedno od vodećih međunarodnih znanstvenih društava u području istraživanja shizofrenije i psihotičnih poremećaja. Nagrada je namijenjena mladim istraživačima koji su kroz svoj znanstveni, nastavnički ili klinički rad pokazali izražen profesionalni i znanstveni interes za područje shizofrenije, uz dokaze o kontinuiranom i budućem istraživačkom angažmanu. Ovo priznanje potvrđuje međunarodnu prepoznatljivost njezina istraživačkog rada te doprinos razvoju suvremenih pristupa razumijevanju i ranom prepoznavanju psihotičnih poremećaja.
